The Wheelchair Football Association (WFA) was formed in 2005 to govern the sport of Powerchair Football in England. The WFA are recognised by the Football Association as the sports lead organisation and our Laws are sanctioned by them.

Initially the WFA ran as a voluntary organisation focusing on raising awareness, providing guidance to potential new clubs and establishing a national competition. However as the number of clubs increased the WFA recognised the need to expand upon the capacity of volunteers in order to grow the game.

DBA Sport CIC is working with The WFA, to create a multi-organisational partnership that will benefit the growth and sustainability of The WFA and its members Clubs..
